Mehsana Urban Institute of Biosciences came into existence with the objective of meeting the educational requirements of the youth in the areas of Professional studies and to provide the best learning opportunities along with inculcation of uprightness, commitment and values. The institute acts as a constituent unit of the Ganpat University, which is ultimately approved by the department of education of the state of Gujarat and the University Grants Commission.

Eligibility criteria:

For admission to the Master of Science in Biotechnology course, candidates must have completed their UG degree under 10+2+3 scheme in biological sciences/biochemistry/industrial microbiology/medical microbiology/microbiology/genetics/biotechnology/bioinformatics. For Master of Science in Microbiology course, candidates with UG degree in Microbiology/medical microbiology/industrial microbiology are eligible to apply. For M. Sc Biotechnology course, candidates must have completed their B. Sc in chemistry & biological sciences/environmental science/dairy science/veterinary science/agricultural sciences/pharmacy/biochemistry/biotechnology.
