The duration of the course is 2 years. Admission Process for Master of Science in Genetics

Those who have completed graduation in following subjects are eligible to pursue this course.

Delhi University usually considers candidates with 60% marks (in qualifying degree) for admission. Final year students having the required qualification are also eligible. Admissions are offered on the basis of entrance exam and interview. Candidate can obtain a maximum of 80 marks for exam and 20 marks for interview. The test is carried out in objective model giving emphasis to Biology and Genetics.

Maharshi Dayanand University considers the academic merit of the candidate along with entrance test score for admission. Entrance exam is carried out by the University itself. Mysore University also follows the same process for admission.
