GPS and GSM based Vehicle Tracking System - This is an automotive localization system which uses GPS and GSM-SMS services. The system permits localization of the automobile and transmits a SMS indicating its position to the owner. The system can be interconnected with the car alarm system. This tracking system is consists of a GPS receiver, microcontroller and a GSM modem. This project is a low cost application which seems very useful in case of car theft situations.

Time Operated Solar Tracking System - This project helps in controlling the position of a solar panel in accordance with the motion of sun. Time Operated Solar Tracking System is designed using microcontroller, solar panels, RTC, stepper motor and its driving circuit. In this project RTC is used to find the location of sun and accordingly the microcontroller is programmed to make the stepper motor move.

Low-cost Optical Tracking System using Wii Remote - In this project, a low cost 3-D position tracking system using a Wii remote controller and IR markers is introduced. This work is distinguished from other existing tracking systems. Some key features that it exploits are the multi view capability of the low-cost Wii remote controller. The same contains an IR camera and an on-board hardware for signal detection.
