Delhi Development Authority was established in the year 1955 under the provisions of the Delhi Development Act. Currently, the authority is involved in the construction work for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. The major objective of the authority is to provide a well-planned, orderly and swift development of the state. The authority was established with the aim of providing smooth development for the state of Delhi. The authority gots its preent name on December 30, 1957. The authority was also engaged in the construction work and preparations for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

Job Profile:

Delhi Development Authority is looking forward to recruit eligible candidates on the vacant positions of Naib Tehsildar. Only those candidates, who possess Indian Citizenship, are eligible for applyingfor the posts of Naib Tehsildar in Delhi Development Authority.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the posts of Naib Tehsildar is 18 years as on 20 February 2012.
The maximum age limit set for the posts of Naib Tehsildar is 25 years as on 20 February 2012.

Reserved categories candidates may get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules of Government of India. Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes categories candidates will get relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit while OBC category candidates will get relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit.

Educational Qualification:

Interested candidates are required to possess the minimum educational qualification set for the posts of Naib Tehsildar in Delhi Development Authority. Candidates having qualification less than the prescribed educational qualification, will not be considered eligible for applying for the specified position. Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Application Fee:

General and OBC candidates are required to pay the application fee of Rs. 100 in the form of a Demand Draft only. No application fee is need to be paid by the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes categories. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of Delkhi Development Authority payable at New Delhi.

How to apply: Applications in the prescribed format and also complete in all respect should be sent in accordance with the other enclosures in an envelope. The envelope should be superscribed with the name of the post applied for. The envelope should reach to the below mentioned address on or before the last date for the reciept of application.
