The National Institute of Industrial Engineering is located in Mumbai and is one of the renowned Institutes for Industrial Engineering in our country. To be eligible for PGDIE course of National Institute of Industrial Engineering, the candidate must be a graduate from any branch of Engineering /Technology or any equivalent course of study.

The number of seats for the course is 111. Reservations are there for SC, ST and Physically Challenged. Seats are also reserved for QIP, Defense Services Candidates and Industry Sponsored Candidates.

NITIE Admission Procedure:

PGDIE is a renowned program offered by NITIE. The eligibility criteria for admission to this course are a first class degree in any branch of engineering and at least 85 percentile score in GATE.

Group Discussion and Personal Interview are a part of the admission process. This is because of the requirements of good communication skills in modern industry.

Selection of a candidate will be given on the basis of GATE score, Group Discussion performance and Interview score with the required weight given to each.

The application form for the course can be a filled online.

For the Industry Sponsored Category, applicants are required to fill the Sponsorship Form. They do not require GATE score.

The candidates applying for the Industry Sponsored Category (ISP) should fill in the Sponsorship Form also. GATE score is not required for ISP candidates.
