NITIE 2011 MBA
National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) offers admission in the Post Graduate degree in the course of Management. National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) was established in the year 1963 by the Government of India along with the collaboration of the United Nation Development Project (UNDP). The Institute has been approved by the AICTE. The Institute offers management programs for candidates who have under done their Technical/Engineering degrees. The Institute has been time and again been proven to amongst the best B-Schools in our nation.
The Institute has an advantageous location and is situated in the beautiful city of Mumbai. The Institute short lists the candidates for the program of PGDITM, PGDIM and PGDISEM on the basis of the CAT scores. Thus, the interested candidates have to compulsorily appear for CAT. The candidates after been short listed are put through Group Discussion and Personal Interview. This allows the panel to verify the candidates and put out a final selection list based on the marks obtained in all of the above stages of admission.
Eligibility criteria:
A candidate should have an engineering/technical bachelor’s degree from a recognised institute with first division. Candidates in their final year can also apply.
Courses offered (through CAT):
• Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM).
• Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety & Environmental Management (PGDISEM).
• Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management (PGDITM).
Availability of Application forms:
The forms for NITIE’s programs are expected to be available by October in designated centers as well as the instititute. Candidates can also apply online through the website www.nitie.edu.
Important Dates:
Availability of Application Forms/Online Application: 1st week of October, 2010
Last Date for Online Application: last week of February, 2011
Group Discussion/Personal Interview: Mid week of March, 2011
Selection process:
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT scores. Candidates have to submit their CAT scores online and also send the photocopy of CAT scorecard to NITIE. The selected candidates have to appear for a GD session and after that for an Interview. Final list of selected candidates are declared only when GD and PI are successfully done.

recentlu i came to know from my friend studying in NMIMS mumbay having the dual degree coarse of 5-year from NMIMS ,of betc-MBA.i want to know wheather i NITIE is also giving such oppurtunity.and what is the ellegibility criteria and when i can give exam and my 12% is 62 .Am i ellegible for the entrance exam and whta the full veue of the entrance exam ,,,,,,,,,,plz do let me know
