Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) was established on January 20, 1957 with its name as Atomic Energy Establishment, Trombay (AEET). Later, Atomic Energy Establishement was renamed as Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) on January 22, 1967. BARC provides scientific and technological activities ranging from basic laboratory bench scale research to scale up plant level operations. BARC’s functional domain includes science and technology fields ranging from classical school of thoughts to the novel fields. BARC also provides Research and Development support required to sustain major applications of nuclear energy.

Job Profile:

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Nurse.

No. of posts: Total number of nurses required is 20

Pay Scale –  Rs. 9300 - 34800 + GP of Rs. 4600 with total emoluments of Rs. 32315

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 yrs and the maximum age limit is 30 yrs (Relaxable as per rules).

Educational qualification – XII standard and 3 yrs Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery + Registration as “A” Grade Nurse; Or Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Or Nursing “A” certificate with 3 yrs experience in hospital or Nursing Assistant Class III & above from the Armed Forces. Candidates with Nursing degree will be provided two additional increments at the time of recruitment.

Selection Process:

The selection to the post is through interview. Candidates will be called for the interview based on their educational qualification and experience.
