Allahabad UP Gramin Bank has invited applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Office Assistant and the details regarding the notification issued by the bank for the same are given below:

Name of the Vacancy: Office Assistant

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 414, which is divided among the different categories as follows

SC - 87

OBC – 111

ST – 04

General – 212

Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Office Assistant will come under the pay brand of 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: Candidates should fulfill any of the following educational qualification requirements to apply for the position of Office Assistant:

Candidates must be degree holders from a recognized university in any discipline or

Pass in higher secondary examination with not less than 50% of aggregate marks either in 11+3 pattern or 10+2+3 pattern of education or intermediate or pre-degree examination or

Diploma in Banking from an institution recognized by the state/central government/union territory

Pass with not less than 60% of marks in senior school certificate/matriculation or equivalent

Proficiency in computers, local language and knowledge of English are essential

Age Requirement: Age requirement for the position of Office Assistant is between 18 and 26 years as on the date of online registration. Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in written test followed by interview. The written test is fixed to be conducted on 23rd of October 2011. Application fee:

Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.400, which is inclusive of postal charges and SC/ST candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs.100, which is postal charges alone. When depositing the fee candidate will be issued with a receipt with date of deposit, branch code number, branch name and transaction number by the bank. How to apply:

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements, will have to apply online through the website of the bank at http://www.allahabadgraminbank.in/joomla between 2nd August and 30th of August 2011. Once application is made online, the system generated print out should be kept by the candidates for future reference and no other means of application will be accepted.
