Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited (MECL) was set up in October 1972. MECL is an autonomous Public Sector Company that works under the administrative control of the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. MECL is established for systematic exploration of minerals. The primary objective of MECL is to provide high quality, cost effectual and quick geo-scientific services that helps in easy exploration and exploitation of minerals. Till now, MECL has done about 1197 projects/reports, and has explored about 141428 Million Tonnes of ores/ mineral reserves.
Job Profile:
Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited (MECL), Nagpur invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Officer Trainee in various disciplines.
No. of posts: 24 (Geology - 15, I.T - 2, Statistics - 1, Chemistry - 3, H.R – 1)
Pay Scale – Consolidated payment of Rs. 16400 per month. After successful completion of 1 year training, the pay scale will be Rs. 16400 - 40500 with CTC of Rs. 33499 per month at CHQ Nagpur, Rs. 34600 at Drilling Projects and Rs. 35400 at Mining projects.
Eligibility:
Age criteria – The upper age limit is 28 yrs.
Qualification – The candidates must have done specific educational qualification in relevant field with minimum 65 % marks. For complete details refer the company’s website http://www.mecl.gov.in.
