Bank profile: The North Malabar Gramin Bank is one of the rural banks operating in India. It has been serving and providing facilities with its full efforts mainly to the rural sector and working for its development. It provides them good schemes and economical benefits as well.
Job profile: The officers will be required to work in different departments and manage and control the operations and activities of the respective department. The officers will be required to maintain public relations with the customers and they will be responsible for handling critical matters of the bank in their relative specialty.
Eligibility: A candidate must be between the age of 18 and 26 years. However, relaxation can be claimed. A candidate must be an Indian national and must have proficiency in Malayalam language.
Educational Qualifications: A candidate must have a graduate degree with 60% in any discipline. A candidate having good knowledge of computers (MS Excel, Networking, MS DOS) will be given the preference. A candidate with professional qualification like law, engineering, Business administration etc will be given preference.
No. of posts: There are 21 posts that include 3 posts for SC, 1 for ST, 5 for OBC and 12 for UR category.
Pay scale: The officers will be given a pay scale of Rs10000-18240 plus other allowances as per the rules.
Selection procedure: The candidates will have to appear in a written test followed by an interview. The written test will be an objective type test.
How to apply: The candidates are required to apply as per the format given on the website. They are required to pay a fee of Rs200 (for GEN/OBC) and Rs50 (for SC/ST) in the form of a DD or pay order drawn in the favor of North Malabar Gramin Bank - Recruitment - Officer Scale I – 2009 payable at Kannur. The candidates are required to write their name and address on the reverse of the DD. The candidates must send the copies of their certificates along with the applications.
The last date for the receipt of applications is 17th September 2009.
Date of exam is 25th October 2009.
