Structure of Osmania University Ph.D in Information Technology Entrance Exam

The Ph.D entrance test conducted by the Osmania University will be out of a total of 100 marks. The test should be completed within 90 minutes. The entrance test is structured in an objective type multiple choice format. In order to obtain a pass in the Ph.D Information Technology Entrance examination, the candidate should score atleast a minimum of 30% marks. Candidates those who clear the entrance test will have to attend an interview.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates those who have completed the Master’s in Information Technology from any of the reputed institutes are eligible to apply for the Ph.D Information Technology Entrance examination that is being conducted by the Osmania University. Candidates should also possess a minimum of 55% marks for the qualifying examination. The SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% for the same. Fulfilling all these conditions is a must. No relaxations will be allowed in the same.

How to Apply?

The aspirants can purchase the application forms along with the booklet from the Director, Department of Publications and Press, Osmania University. Students can also purchase the form through post by sending a DD of Rs 100/-. The DD should be sent in favour of the “The Director, Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University” and payable at Hyderabad.” After completing the application forms it should be enclosed along with a DD of Rs 550/- and must be sent to the The Director, Directorate of Admissions, Near University Press, Osmania University, Hyderabad – 500007.

How to fill the Form?

The students should read the instructions given in the admission brochure before filling up the application form. A self attested photograph of the candidate should be affixed in the space provided.
