Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI) was established under the Government of India. The company comes under the adminsitrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy. The company was established on October 22, 2003. The company was initially established as a Public Limited Company under the Companies Act, 1956. The major objective of the company is constructing and commissioning the first 500 MWe Fast Breeder Reactor(FBR) at Kalpakkam in Tamilnadu. National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research was established under the supervision of Indian Council of Medical Research. The centre aims to generate data on magnitude and patterns of cancer. The centre actually came into existence when the Indian Council of Medical Research Limited initiated a network of cancer registries across the country under the National Cancer Registry Programme. The centre is located or situated at IInd floor of Nirmal Bhawan, Bangalore. Sustaining and developing a national research database on cancer is one of the prime objective of the centre. Anantnag District is located in the southern sector of the valley of Jehlum and due to the delicious fruits, fragrant flowers, fertile soil and melodious flow of sweet waters of its springs, its lofty mountains and inspiring majesty, the district has come to be synonymous with greatness. The whole southern part of the district, which is contiguous with tehsils of Kishtwar, Banihal and Reasi of the Province of Jammu and eastern sector, which is contagious with tehsil Kargil of Ladakh division includes mountains and thick forests. On the other hand, the western and northern sides of the district are bounded by the Kulgam District and Pulwama District respectively.
