Company profile: Mazagon Dock Ltd is one of the premier companies engaged in shipbuilding with the ISO 9001-2000 certification. It is actively engaged in construction of warships and submarines for the Indian Navy. It also constructs other vessels and commercial vehicles.
Job profile: The candidates will be working as probationary officers and they will be learning while in probation. Then they will have to work as engineers in the concerned departments and operate and manage various activities.
Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 26 years. However, relaxation can be claimed.
Educational Qualifications: A candidate must have a degree in any of the following - mechanical/electronics/electrical/production/mechanical and industrial/instrumentation/electronics and telecommunications/civil/structural/naval architecture engineering.
No. of posts: There are 46 posts in total which include 30 for mechanical, 8 for electronics and 8 for electrical. These are further divided among different categories.
Pay scale: The candidates will be given a pay scale of Rs8600-14600 plus other usual allowances as per the rules.
Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for a written test which be held in Mumbai only. The candidates who qualify the written test will be called for an interview.
How to apply: The candidates are required to apply as per the format given on the website. The applications must be accompanied by an extra photo and the copies of essential certificates like proof of age, caste etc. The candidates are required to pay a fee in the form of a DD of Rs250 only for General candidates. The DD must be drawn in favor of Mazagon Dock Limited and must be payable at Mumbai. All the applications must reach the Additional General Manager (HR-O), Mazagon Dock Limited, Dockyard Road, Mumbai 400 010
