Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology was established on November 1, 1999 under the Government of India. The university is considered as the second agricultural university of the state. The university actually started functioning from the year month of December, 1999. Dr. Sarabjit Singh Chahal is the Vice Chancellor of the university. Sh. Anshuman Singh is the Chancellors of the university. Dr. A. S. Faroda is the Vice Chancellor of the university.

4. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:

Educational Qualification: Good academic record with atleast 55% marks in aggregate at the Master’s degree in the relevant subject.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Post of Assistant Professor is available in the AICRP on Soyabean, Department of Horticulture, Department of Agronomy, Department of IWM and Department of Entomology.

5. Recruitment of Subject Matter Specialist:
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Good academic record with atleast 55% marks in aggregate at the Master’s degree in the relevant subject.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Post of Subject Matter Specialist is available in the Department of Animal Production, Horticulture and Agronomy in KVKs of MPUAT.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 1000 is need to be sent for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Programme Coordinator. Rs. 500 is the amount of application fee for the post of Assistant Professor and Subject Matter Specialist. For the sc/ST categories candidates, the amount of application fee is reduced to 50%. The application fee must be paid in the form of a Demand Draft payable to the Controller, MPUAT, Udaipur.
