National Institute Of Food Technology Entrepreneurship And Management was incorporated as a world class institution under the Government of India. The institute was incorporated as a centre of excellence which comes under the Ministry of Food Processing Institute. The institute is located at Kundli. The main idea behind the establishment of the institute was to cater to the virus stakeholders such as entrepreneurs, industry, policy maker etc. The institute aims to integrate all facets of the food technology. The institute is determined to enhance the food processing sector in the country.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited in the prescribed performa from eligible Indian citizens for the following faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management. The vacancies are available in the Department of Basic and Applied Sciences, Food Science & Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, Food Business Management & Enterprenuership Development and Environmental Science.

1. Recruitment of Professor:
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 60 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be an eminent scholar with Ph.D. degree. Candidates are also required to possess atleast 10 years of experience in the field of teaching or reserach from any recognized university or college.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 50 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be an eminent scholar with Ph.D. degree in the concerned disciplines with a good academic record. Candidates are also required to have done Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks in aggregate. Candidates must possess atleast 8 years of experience in the field of teaching or reserach from any recognized university or college.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be a Master’s degree holder with a consistent good academic record and atleast 55% marks in aggregate. Candidates are also required to have passed National Eligibility Test conducted by the UGC, CSIR.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the desired positions only on the basis of their performances in the personal interview test that will be taken by a selection committee. This selection committee will make the final decision on the selections of eligible candidates.
