National Institute of Health and Family Welfare was established as an apex technical institute under the Government of India. The institute was funded by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The institute actually came into existence in the year 1977 as a result of the merging of National Institute of Health Administration and Education and National Institute of Family Planning. The major objective objective behind its establishment was to promote the health and family welfare programmes in the country. The institute provides education, research, training and other consultancy services in the country.

National University of Educational Planning and Administration has opening for various faculty positions at the level of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Candidates should be a scholar with academic record of high distinction in disciplines relevant to the area of educational policy, planning and administration.

1. Recruitment of Professor:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be an eminent scholar with Ph.D qualification in the concerned discipline. Candidates must have minimum of 10 years of teaching experience.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be an eminent scholar with Ph.D qualification in the concerned discipline. Candidates should have secured atleast 55% marks in Master’s degree. Candidates must have minimum of 8 years of teaching experience.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a good academic record with atleast 55% marks in aggregate at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subjects. Candidates must also have cleared the National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC, CSIR.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Selection Process:

Selection of eligible candidates on the above specified positions will be made only through the conduct of a personal interview test that will be held on a specified date. Shortlisted candidates will be informed to attend the interview test.
