The major objective behind the establishment of the corporation was to have a responsible body for organizing competitive written exaimantion and personal interview test for the candidates interested in any of the reputed government job in the state of Uttarakhand. The main function of the corporation is to conduct written examination and Interview test.

Job Profile:

Uttarakhand State Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited is seeking to hire eligible professionals for the following positions of Resident Engineer (Civil/E&M) and Junior Engineer (Civil/E&M) on purely contract basis or deputation.

1. Recruitment of Resident Engineer (Civil):
No. of posts: Only 10 posts (Gen-5, SC-2, ST-1 and OBC-2).
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 35 years as on 1 january 2011.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in Civil Engineering with some years of experience in supervision of major infrastructure projects.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 25000 per month.

2. Recruitment of Resident Engineer (E&M):
No. of posts: Only 1 posts (SC-1).
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 35 years as on 1 january 2011.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with some years of experience in major building and heavy machineries.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 25000 per month.

3. Recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil):
No. of posts: Only 52 posts (Gen-31, SC-11, ST-3 and OBC-7).
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 35 years as on 1 january 2011.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering with some years of experience in supervision of major infrastructure projects.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 15000 per month.

4. Recruitment of Junior Engineer (E&M):
No. of posts: Only 3 posts (Gen-2 and SC-1).
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 35 years as on 1 january 2011.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with some years of experience in supervision of major infrastructure projects.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 15000 per month.

No application fee is to be paid by the candidates for applying on any of the above specified post.

Selection Process:

Interested candidates will have to face a written test first and then a personal interview test for getting selected on any of the desired posts specified above. Only successful candidates of the written examination will be called for the personal interview test.
