Samtel Group came into existence in the year 1974. The group was set up as a single unit and in course of time it has grown to being one of the largest manufacturers of display devices like black and white and color picture tubes, industrial and medical applications, avionics tubes, glass parts of picture tubes and other components of engineering applications. The company recruits engineers from prestigious engineering institutions throughout the country. The pattern of the selection test of the company is given below.

The paper of the company consists of an aptitude part and technical part. The aptitude test is of 120 marks. The questions are basic mathematics questions consisting of topics like profit and loss, time and distance, and basic geometry etc. Questions are also asked from logical reasoning and puzzles etc. time management is a crucial point to crack the aptitude test.

The technical paper consists of 60 questions. The questions are from areas like Refrigeration & AC, Heat treatment- annealing, quenching, som, tom, and many questions from welding. A thorough knowledge of the subject is very essential for this part of the test.
