Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) involves in regularly updating the standards of drugs commonly used for the treatment of diseases prevailing in Ghaziabad. The IPC performs scientific analytical validation of Drugs and Pharmaceuticals as an Independent Body. This autonomous Institution of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare belongs to the Government of India.

The main aim of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission is the promotion of highest standards of drugs for animals and humans. The mission of IPC is to promote public health in India by producing officially accepted and authoritative quality of drugs. The objectives of IPC are to develop comprehensive monographs for drugs to be included in the Indian Pharmacopoeia, and to develop monographs for both raw and extracts/formulations of herbal drugs. The IPC also aims to organize educational programs and research activities for spreading and ascertaining awareness on the necessity and scope of quality standards for drug.

Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Scientist Assistant.

No. of posts: 16

Pay Scale – Rs. 9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification – The candidates must have specific educational qualification. The candidates who have done post graduate degree in one of the disciplines including Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Chemistry, and Bio-Chemistry are eligible to apply for the post.
