Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was established on August 15, 1969 as the leading space research organizations in the world under the Government of India. The headquarter of the organisation is located at Antariksh Bhawan, New BEL Road, Bangalore. Mr. K. Radhakrishnan is the chairman or the administrator of the organisation. The major objective of the organisation is to develop the space technology. Satish Dhawan Space Centre is the primary spaceport of the organization.
Job Profile:
Indian Space Research Organisation is looking forward to recruit eligible and qualified candidates on the following vacant positions of Scientist Engineer-Sc and Scientist?Engineer-SD. The vacancies are available in the disciplines of Geology, Geophysics, Physical Oceanography and Water Resources Management.
1. Recruitment of Scientist/Engineer-SC (Geology/Geophysics):
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. or M.Tech degree in Geology or Geophysics from a recognized university is required for the post. Candidates must also have knowledge in computer analysis, image processing and GIS.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
2. Recruitment of Scientist/Engineer-SC (Physical Oceanography):
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. or M.Tech degree in Physical Oceanography from a recognized university is required for the post. Candidates must also have knowledge in computer analysis, image processing and GIS.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
3. Recruitment of Scientist/Engineer-SC (Water Resources Management):
Educational Qualification: M.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university is required for the post. Candidates must also have knowledge in reservoir hydrology.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
4. Recruitment of Scientist/Engineer-SD (Forestry):
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. degree in Forestry from a recognized university is required for the post. Candidates must also have first class academic records.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.
5. Recruitment of Scientist/Engineer-SD (Geology/Geophysics):
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. degree in Geology or Geophysics from a recognized university is required for the post. Candidates must also have first class academic records with knowledge of computer programming.

6. Recruitment of Scientist/Engineer-SD (Physical Oceanography):
