University profile: It was established in the year 1986. It has a variety of departments and excellent facilities to offer. It has many institutes and research stations under it. It is a highly reputed university with an excellent placement record and faculty.

Job profile: The professors and scientists (Subject Matter Specialists) will be responsible for impart quality education and knowledge to students, teaching them in their field of specialization and helping them in their project work. They will also be responsible for working in different agricultural areas for research and development.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 40 years. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the govt. of India rules.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate must have a good academic record with a minimum of 55% or an equivalent grade B in the 7 point system at Mater’s level from a recognized university. A candidate must have also passed the National Eligibility Test in the concerned field.

No. of posts: There are 13 posts in total that include 9 posts for scientists and 4 posts for assistant professors.

Pay scale: The scientists/SMS and assistant professors will be given a pay band of Rs8000-13500 plus other usual allowances as per the norms.

Selection process: The candidates will be short listed on the basis of their educational qualifications and experience. The short listed candidates will be called for an interview. The selections will be based on merit.
