Profile:
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was established on August 15, 1969 as the leading space research organizations in the world under the Government of India. The headquarter of the organisation is located at Antariksh Bhawan, New BEL Road, Bangalore. Mr. K. Radhakrishnan is the chairman or the administrator of the organisation. The major objective of the organisation is to develop the space technology. Satish Dhawan Space Centre is the primary spaceport of the organization.
Job Profile:
Candidates can apply for the annual recruitment of Scientists/ Engineers ‘SC’ in both Electronics and Mechanical field or branch.
Eligibility:
The maximum age limit set for the posts of Scientists/Engineers is 35 years as on 26 February 2010. There is also age relaxation for the reserved category candidates as per Government of India rules.
Educational Qualification:
BE or B.Tech or equivalent with first Class with an atleast aggregate marks of 65% is required as the minimum required educational qualification for applying for the posts of Scientists or Engineers.
No. of posts: Several posts are available for the position of Scientists/Engineers.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 as the prescribed salary.
Selection Process:
Written Examination will be conducted by the organisation for the final selection of the candidates for the position of Scientists/Engineers.
