Profile:

Council of Scientific & Industrial Research is the largest R&D organization of the country which is publicly funded. Council of Scientific & Industrial Research covers a wide range of R&D sectors like Aerospace, micro-electronics, ocean exploration, structural study, environmental research etc. It also deals in the fields like petrochemicals, mechatronics, life sciences, drug and pharmaceutical sectors.

Job Profile:

Candidates can apply for the posts of Section Officer and Assistant in Council of Scientific & Industrial Research depending on their educational qualification.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be more than 28 years of age as on 23 April 2010.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or university is required for applying for both the posts.

No. of posts:

Secction Officer: 43 posts
Assistant: 90 posts

Pay Scale:

Secction Officer: Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4800
Assistant: Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200

Selection Process:

Selection will be made only on the basis of candidate’s performance in all India online examination i.e. Combined Administrative Services Examination (CASE).

How to apply: Rs.700 (No fee for reserved category candidates) in the form of a Demand Draft drawn from SBI in favour of Joint Secretary (Administration), CSIR, New Delhi payable at New Delhi is need to be sent (Registered post or speed post) alongwith the application forms in the prescribed format to The Joint Secretary (Administration), Anusandhan Bhavan, 2, Rafi Marg, New Delhi - 110001.

Last date to apply: 23 April 2010.
