Profile:

Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) was established with the aim of becoming a premier organization for the archaelogical researches and protection of the cultural heritage of the nation. The another major function of the organization is to regulate Antiquities and Art Treasure Act, 1972.

Job profile:

Candidates can apply for the posts of Senior Conservation Assistant for a probation peroid 2 years.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years of age.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates are required to have Matriculation or diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

No. of posts: Total 10 posts are available for the the position of Senior Conservation Assistant.

Pay Scale: Candidates will be given the prescribed salary of Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-.

Selection process:

Candidates will have to undergo a written examination. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selection for the posts.
