The place of posting of selected candidates may be at the headquarter of the company (i.e. Kolkata) or at the various mines of the company located at different places. The posts of Senior General Manager an General manager are available in the disciplines of Mines, Geology, Environmental Engineering, Marketing & Logistics, Projects, Personnel, Civil Engineering etc.

Eligibility:

The maximum age limit set for the posts of Senior General Manager is 48 years as on 1 January 2012.
The maximum age limit set for the posts of General Manager is 45 years as on 1 January 2012.

Relaxation will be provided in the maximum age limit to the reserved categories candidates (candidates falling under Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward class) as per the government directives.

Educational Qualification:

Senior General Manager: Candidates are required to possess the minimum educational qualification i.e. Degree in concerned engineering from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should also possess minimum 21 years of experience in relevant field.

General Manager: The minimum educational qualification set for the post is Degree in concerned discipline from a recognized institute or university. Minimum 18 years of experience in relevant field is also needed in addition to the prescribed educational qualification.

Pay Scale:

Senior General Manager: Consolidated salary of Rs. 18500-23900 per month.
General Manager: Consolidated salary of Rs. 17500-22300 per month.
