North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences is shortly called as NEIGRIHMS and this institution is a premier medical institution in India operating from the city of Shillong in Meghalaya state. Even though, the institute was formally inaugurated on the 5th of March 2010, it has been functioning from its present campus only recently. Tenure of the position: Three years

Pay Scale: Rs. 18750 plus GP of Rs.6600, in addition candidates will also be offered with NPA and other allowances as applicable under Central Government rules for similar positions.

Eligibility requirement:

Educational Qualification: Candidates with PG diploma or degree in appropriate field from an institution recognized by Medical Council of India. They should also have completed their internship satisfactorily in a recognized hospital. Even candidates, who are waiting for the results/appearing for their MS/MD examination can apply. However, these candidates will have to submit their course completion certificate at the time of interview.

Other requirement: Candidates must be registered medical practitioners as approved by Medical Council of India/the State Medical Council. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the appropriate subject/discipline

Age Requirement: Candidates should not be more than 33 years of age as on 06th of June 2011.
