AICTE Approved Intake Capacity of the institution:
The All India Council of Technical Education has approved the institution to admit 120 students each for mechanical engineering, electronics & Communication engineering and computer science engineering and 60 each for MCA, MBA, chemical engineering, bio-tech engineering, applied electronics & instrumentation engineering, information technology and electrical engineering. For the M. Tech courses, the intake capacity of the institution is 18 students for each branch.
Location of the institution:
The campus of JMIT is situated on the Yamuna Nagar – Karnal Highway at about 50 km from national highway no.1, 100 km from Chandigarh, 30 km from Kurukshetra and 16 km from Yamuna Nagar. Total carpet area of the building of the institution is 5908 square meters.
Central library in JMIT:
The central library in JMIT was established in the year 1995 and right from its inception, the library has been growing in services, collection and size. The library is located in a two-storied building with 1036 square meters of covered area. The library has five branches each for electrical engineering, computer engineering, electronics engineering, chemical engineering and mechanical engineering.
