Profile:

The High Court of Nagpur that was established on 2nd January 1936 under the Government of     India Act 1915, turned out to be the High Court of the new state of Madhya Pradesh. Actually the Madhya Pradesh High court was established on 1st of November 1956. The High Court Building at Jabalpur consisted of 14 court rooms including the court room of honorable the Chief Justice. Its South Block consisted of big Conference Hall, and its North Block consisted of four court rooms with chambers. The court consists of an approved strength of 32 permanent judges and 10 additional judges, and a working strength of 26 permanent judges and 8 additional judges.

Pay Scale – Stenographer Grade-II (District Court) - Rs. 5200 - 20200 + GP of Rs. 2800; Stenographer Grade-III (District Court) - Rs. 5200 - 20200 + GP of Rs. 1900.

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 yrs, and the maximum age limit is 35 yrs. The age limit is relaxable as per rules.
