National Aerospace Laboratories shortly called as NAL is a premier research lab working under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. Apart from many research, development and technology programmes in aerospace, NAL is also actively engaged in supporting the National Aerospace Programmes of IAF, HAL, ISRO, DRDO and ADA.

NAL is looking for highly motivated and bright technical staff for participating in the exciting task of technology development and Aerospace R & D and here are the details regarding the notification issued by NAL in this respect:

Name of the Vacancies: Technical Assistant, Technical Officer, Senior Technical Officer Grade I, Lady Medical Officer and Senior Technical Officer Grade II

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 33, which is divided for the aforesaid positions as follows:

• Technical Assistant – 27 positions

• Technical Officer - 01

• Senior Technical Officer Grade I - 03

• Lady Medical Officer – 01

• Senior Technical Officer Grade II - 01

Period of Probation – Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of one year from the date of taking over charge at the laboratory. The period of probation might be curtailed or extended according to the discretion of competent authority.

Pay Scale: Appointed candidates will be coming under the pay scale as mentioned below for each position:

• Technical Assistant – Rs.9300-34800+GP of Rs.4200

• Technical Officer - Rs.9300-34800+GP of Rs.4600

• Senior Technical Officer Grade I - Rs.15600-39100+GP of Rs.5400

• Lady Medical Officer – Rs.15600-39100+GP of Rs.5400

• Senior Technical Officer Grade II - Rs.15600-39100+GP of Rs.6600

Eligibility requirements:

Age: Upper age limit for each position is given below:

• Technical Assistant – 28 years

• Technical Officer – 30 years

• Senior Technical Officer Grade I – 35 years

• Lady Medical Officer – 35 years

• Senior Technical Officer Grade II – 40 years

Cost of application:

Application fee of Rs.100 is payable by candidates for each post, if they are wishing to apply for more than one post. Candidates coming under the category of PWD, SC/ST and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee. The fee should be paid in the form of DD with a validity of at least 5 months from the last date of receipt of applications. DD should be drawn in favor of the Director, NAL payable at Banglaore.
