Centre profile: It was established in the year 2006. It is premier institute for research and development work in the field of biotechnology and allied fields. It is under the care of UNESCO. It has excellent facilities for R and D and a brilliant infrastructure.

Job profile: The technical assistants will be responsible for conducting experiments in various fields related to biology. They will also be responsible for maintaining records, stocks of research materials etc. They will also be required to operate the lab activities and support their seniors.

Eligibility: A candidate must be 30 years or below. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate must be a graduate with a B.Sc degree and a post graduate diploma in laboratory technology. A candidate must also have a minimum experience of 1 year in the relevant field. All the qualifications must be from a recognized university or an institution.

Pay scale: The technical assistants will be given a pay scale of Rs9300-34800 plus a grade pay of Rs4200 plus other usual allowances as per the rules.

Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for an interview. The candidates will also be judged on the basis of their qualifications and experience.
