Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research was set up in the year 1971. This institute is dedicated for the research and development work in the field of atomic energy and related sciences. It deals with fast breeder reactors, closed fuel cycles and related technology etc.

Job profile: The technical officers will be required to work in the departments like mechanical, electronics, material science etc. They will be required to manage different systems useful in the development of atomic energy and related technology.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 35 years. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications:
A candidate must possess a B.E/B.TECH degree in mechanical/electronics/material sciences/electrical from a recognized university with an aggregate of minimum 60%. A candidate must have an experience of 2 years in the concerned area.

No. of posts: There are 6 posts in mechanical department, 3 in electronic, 1 in material science and 1 in electrical department.

Pay scale: The candidates will be given a pay scale of Rs15600-39100 plus a grade pay of Rs5400 plus other basic allowances as per the rules.

Selection process: The candidates will be shortlisted in the basis of their education and experience and the shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
