Revenue Department was set up under the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Allocation of Business) Rules 1993. The Revenue Department functions according to the rules in Section 44 of the Government of National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi. The President of India fixes the main aims and roles of the Revenue Department. The department is responsible for deciding the laws and rules related to land revenue, and computerization of land records in all districts. The department has introduced E-stamping in order to bring transparency in the registration process.
Job Profile:
Revenue Department, Government of NCT of Delhi invites application from eligible retired employees of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh Governments for Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar posts. The posts are for contract basis for a period of 1 year.
No. of posts: 20 (Tehsildar -10, Naib Tehsildar – 10)
Pay Scale – Tehsildar –Rs. 18000, Naib Tehsildar - Rs. 15000
Eligibility:
Age criteria – The maximum age limit is 65 yrs (Relaxable as per rules).

Selection Process:
The selection of the post is through interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview after screening of applications.
