TNSF Consortium 2011 MBA/MCA
TNSF MBA/MCA CET is an entrance test for admission to MCA and MBA courses in a number of self-financing colleges in Tamil Nadu. It is conducted by Consortium of Self-Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu. Consortium belongs to Tamil Nadu and is basically comprised of seven associations in the state of Tamil Nadu. A large number of colleges in Tamil Nadu are affiliated to the consortium.
TNSF Consortium conducts separate entrance tests for MBA and MCA programs on the same day but on different times so that a candidate can appear for both the entrances. A large number of candidates appear for both the entrance examinations. Candidates from all over India can appear for TNSF MBA/MCA CET. This is one of the toughest tests for getting admission in the various top class colleges in Tamilnadu for the MBA and MCA. Here there are a lot of institutes that offer Master Degrees in Computer Arts and Business Management.
These institutes are one of the reputed and pioneer institutes that provide quality education to their candidates. The faculty members of these institutes are highly qualified and well experienced. Due to these reasons it has attracted a lot of students for getting admission in these institutes. The university invites the form of eligible candidates with all the documents and Fee as per the university norms and they have to send it before the last date of submission.
The university invites the eligible candidates for taking part in the exam which it takes at the different centers in all over India. The written test will be of objective type. Since a lot of candidates take part in this exam due to this the test centers are like a battle field. The question paper will be of Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude Test and English Test. Candidates have deep and conceptual knowledge give their best. The university then invites qualify candidates for the counseling where they select the colleges on the basis of their performance in the entrance Test.
Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for MBA/MCA a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree. Those in the final year of their graduation can also apply. To apply for MCA candidates should have had Math in Class 12th or in Graduation.
Availability of Application forms for TNSF MBA/MCA:
The forms for TNSF MBA /MCA are expected to be available by Mid-August in the consortium office and also from the member institutes. The form can also be obtained by post from consortium office by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form. Candidates can also apply online through the websitewww.tnsfconsortium.org
Important Dates(Tentative):
Date of Entrance Examination: 1st week of June, 2011
Availability of Application Forms: 2nd week of May, 2011
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: 3rd week of May, 2011
Announcement of Results: last week of June, 2010
Examination Pattern:
For MBA:
The question paper will have 100 Multiple Choice Questions to be answered in 2 hours from the following topics: Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency, Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Grammar.
For MCA:
The question paper will have 100 Multiple Choice Questions to be answered in 2 hours from the following topics: Quantitative ability, Analytical reasoning, Logical reasoning, Computer awareness and Verbal.
