Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) was established under the Companies Act, 1956 in the year 1993 on the month of August. The primary objective of GSECL is to restructure Power Sector and to mobilize resources. The company also aims to improve the quality and cost of existing generation. Full-fledged operations in the arena of power generation have already been initiated by GSECL The GSECL is working hard to improve the electricity infrastructure of Gujarat. The company has been given the status of Independent Power Producer (IPP) by the Government of Gujarat. Hence, the company has been approved to undertake new power projects, but its operations were limited to Power Stations units at Gandhinagar.
Job Profile:
Applications are invited for the post of Vidyut Sahayak JE (Chemical/Metallurgy/Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) by the GSECL.
No. of posts - 100 (Electrical / Mechanical - 85; Civil - 10; Metallurgy - 02; Chemical - 03)
Pay Scale - Rs. 13000 (1st year) and Rs.14000 (2nd year). Once the selected candidates complete their first two years of service successfully, they will be awarded with a pay scale of Pay scale of Rs.17300 - 38910.
Eligibility:
Age Criteria – The age limit for candidates falling under un-reserved category is 30 years and for candidates falling under reserved category is 35 years.
Educational Qualification – Candidates must be B.E graduate in the respective discipline (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Metallurgy / Chemical) from recognized University with minimum 60 % (Un-Reserved) and 55% (Reserved).
