VLB Janakiammal College of Engineering and Technology provides Masters courses in Engineering in the field of Structural Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Applied Electronics. The college was established by VLB trust in the year 1985. VLBJCET is approved by All India Council of Technical Education and its courses are Affiliated to Anna University, Coimbatore. It is a well known institute for engineering education and also provides very good placement opportunities to the students.

Admission to ME courses of Anna University is based on TANCET conducted by Anna University. For admission in VLB Janakiammal College of Engineering and Technology candidates have to opt for it at the counselling for ME course.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant field or equivalent from a recognised institute/university with atleast 50% aggregate marks. Those in their final year can also apply for provisional admission.

Date of TANCET: May End, 2010

Since the admission to ME courses of VLBJCET is through TANCET candidates have to apply for TANCET. Candidates can apply for TANCET by either registering at any of the designated centers across Tamil Nadu, by obtaining the form by post or through internet registeration. For more details wait for TANCET notification which is expected to release by March, 2010.
