Vysya Institute of Management Studies was established at Salem in the year 1990 and the institute is coming under the jurisdiction of Periyar University located in Salem. The institute is controlled by the Vasavi Vidya Trust and it is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, and Government of India.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

Candidates who have done 10+2 with mathematics subject, and a graduation degree in any stream are eligible to apply for the post graduate courses available at the college. They must get qualified in the TANCET/AIMCET/CET entrance test in order to get admission for these PG courses.
