Women’s Christian College came into existence in the year 1973 and the college was established for fulfilling the missions and visions of a few of dedicated and committed members of the Kanyakumari Diocese of the Church of South India. It is a Christian minority government-aided institution for girls and the college is affiliated to the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. The college has also earned accreditation from National Assessment and Accreditation Council in the year 2004 and recognition from the University Grants Commission.

Eligibility norms:

The eligibility norms for applying to the B. Com/B. Sc and B.A courses, is a pass in the higher secondary or any other equivalent qualification as required.

Admission:

The college begins the process of admission to the UG courses, immediately after the publication of higher secondary results in the state of Tamil Nadu. Admission process for the PG courses offered by the Women’s Christian College begins immediately after the publication of B.A/B. Sc/B. Com results by the Manomaniam Sundaranar University. Admission for students will be based on the reservation norms issued by the Tamil Nadu Government for aided minority institution.
