Qualifying Exam

Aerobics Certification along with Personal Trainer Certification / Sports Nutrition Certification / Yoga Certification / Pilates Certification / CPR Certification / Children’s Psychology, Nutrition & Obesity Certification / Advanced Gym Trainer Certification / GP & Exercise Referral Specialist Certification / Fitness Management Certification / Stress Management Certification / Group Indoor Cycling Instructor will add up to ones qualification. Different forms of aerobic exercises including water aerobics, step aerobics, kickboxing, high and low impact aerobics and sports conditioning will improve the aspirants’ career prospects. One should also make sure that they seek certification from any of the nationally recognized organization such as the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) or the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or American Council on Exercise (ACE).

Who is eligible to apply?

The candidates who have passed their 10+2 can pursue a diploma or certification course in Aerobics. Those with Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or allied fields are eligible for the various advanced courses in Aerobics Training. One should cultivate a basic understanding on fitness related topics which is an essential requisite needed to clear various exams. All the certification exams have both written as well as practical components. The exams evaluate awareness of the aspirants in various fields such as human physiology, assessment of client fitness levels, proper exercise techniques, and development of apt exercise programs. The candidates are required to prepare well in all these sections. Certifying organizations do provide study materials, audio – video study aids, exam preparation workshops and seminar which assist the aspirants in exam preparation.
