Anand Law College came into existence in the year 1964 and the college was established under the supervision and guidance of the great visionary Late Dr. Gordhanbhai Shanabhai Patel. The institute is managed by Shri Ramkrishna Seva Mandal and it is offering education with affiliation from the Sardar Patel University located in Vallabh Vidyanagar. The law courses offered by the college are permanently recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Intake capacity and Course duration:

The duration of diploma courses is one year, while the duration of LL. B (general course) is two year. On the other hand, the duration of LL. B (special course) is one year, while the duration of integrated courses is five years. LL.M course extends to a period of two years and the institute is approved with an intake capacity of 100 students per year for this course. The intake capacity of the institution for the integrated courses is 60 students each, while for LL. B (general) course intake capacity is 300 students per year. For diploma courses, the intake capacity of the college is 100 students per course.

Educational requirements:

For getting into the diploma courses offered by the Anand Law College, candidates must have completed their graduation from a recognized university or institution. For getting into the integrated courses, candidates must have done their H. Sc with minimum 45% of marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in any stream with English as a subject from the central board or any other recognized state board of education. For getting into the LL. B special course, candidates must be graduates in law. As far as LL. B general course is concerned, candidates must be graduates in any discipline with not less than 45% of marks (40% for SC/ST candidates). For PG course, candidates must be graduates in the field of law from a recognized institution or university.

Age requirement:

As far as age requirement for Integrated course is concerned, candidates must be less than 20 years of age (22 years for SC/ST candidates) on the first day of the academic year in which he/she is seeking admission. For LL. B (general) course, candidates must be less than 30 years of age (35 years for SC/ST candidates) on the first day of the academic year in which he/she is seeking admission.
