Application for Madhya Pradesh PET Entrance Exam
The MP PET is an entrance exam which students interested in pursuing a Bachelor degree in Engineering undertake. These courses are offered in many technical institutes in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are applying for this exam must have completed their class 12 examination with Mathematics and Chemistry in addition to Physics. Those candidates who are appearing for the final exams are eligible to apply too. The student must be at least 21 years at the time of applying. (Candidates of the backward community should be 24 years). Candidates who are appearing for the MP PET exam should be residents of Madhya Pradesh state.
Application Procedure
There are two methods available for the students to apply. They are:
Online
Candidates can apply online with the aid of theses sites: www.vyapam.nic.in or www.mponline.gov.in. The price of the application fee is Rs. 600/- for the general candidates and Rs. 300/- for candidates belonging to the backward category.
Offline
The application from can be obtained from the office of Professional Examination Board. It can also be purchased from any of the State Engineering Colleges. Those candidates who wish to receive their form by post must send a request letter to the Controller of exams, Professional Examination Board, Bhopal. A DD of the requisite amount should accompany the letter.
Filling the Application Form
A few things to be kept in mind by the applicants:
- The applicants should read the directions from the prospectus carefully.
- The applicants should fill the form in block letters only. They should be careful not to overwrite.
- The applicants should retain the Challan from the bank where the student paid the fees.
- The Challan of the cash payment also should be kept safely.
- A recent photo of the applicant should be fixed in the space provided.
- The applicants must provide their signature at the space indicated.
