Department of Telecommunication comes under the administrative control of Ministry oif Communications & Information Technology, Government of India. Promotion of private investment, standardization, research and development in Telecommunications is one of the prime objective of the department. Mr. R. Chandrashekhar is the present chairman TC & Secretary of the Department of Telecommunication. The Telecom Commission was set up by the Government of India. The department of telecommision is also reponsible for grants of licences for various telecom services. The department also enforces wireless regulatory measures.

Job Profile:

Department of Telecommunication is looking forward to recruit eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the following vacant posts of Assistant Accounts Officer, Senior Accountant, Junior Accountant and Lower Division Clerk in the office of the Controller of Communication Accounts UP (West) Telecom Circle, Meerut. Candidates will be recruited purely on deputation basis. The period of deputation will be initially for a period of three years only. However, the period of deputation may get extended by two more years as per the requirement of the office.

1. Recruitment of Assistant Accounts Officer:
Posts Available: Only 4 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be officials holding same or analogous posts in various ministeries or departments of Central or State Government on regular basis.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4800.

2. Recruitment of Senior Accountant:
Posts Available: Only 56 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be officials holding same or analogous posts in various ministeries or departments of Central or State Government on regular basis.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

3. Recruitment of Junior Accountant:
Posts Available: Only 9 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be officials holding same or analogous posts in various ministeries or departments of Central or State Government on regular basis.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

4. Recruitment of Lower Division Clerk:
Posts Available: Only 25 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be officials holding same or analogous posts in various ministeries or departments of Central or State Government.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

Eligibility Conditions:

The maximum age limit set for all the above specified posts is 56 years as on the closing date of reciept of applications i.e. candidates should have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit. Candidates should also possess working knowledge of computers besides the minimum educational qualification required for the post.
