Jharkhand Public Service Commission was established under Government of Jharkand, Government of India. The major objective behind the establishment of the commission was to have a body responsible for making recruitment on the various government posts in the state of Jharkhand only. The commission actually came into existence under the provisions of the Article 315 of the Constitution of India. Jharkhand Public Service Commission is responsible to conduct competitive written as well as personal interview eaminations for the making the final selections of the candidates on the government posts in the state.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited by Jharkhand Public Service Commission for making recruitment of qualified individuals on the vacant positions of Assistant Engineer (Civil), Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) and Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) in various ministeries or departments of Government of Jharkhand. Only candidates with Indian Nationality are eligible for applying.

1. Recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil):
Posts Available: 83 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

2. Recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Mechanical):
Posts Available: 3 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Electrical):
Posts Available: 6 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to have age as per the prescribed age criteria set for the posts of Assistant Engineer in Jharkhand Public Service Commission. Candidates must have age more than the prescribed minimum age limit i.e. 23 years but not more than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post i.e. 35 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will get relaxation of few years in the upper age limit as per the rules of Government of India. SC/ST candidates will get relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit while OBC candidates will get relaxation of 3 years.

Application Fee:

All interested candidates should pay the prescribed amount of application fee before applying for the specified positions in Jharkhand Public Service Commission. The application fee must be deposited through the payment challan form only. The fee must be paid in cash in any branch of State Bankof India in Account No. 32214212734.

Application fee for General and OBC candidates: Rs. 400 only.
Application fee for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidates: Rs. 200 only.
Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from the payment of application fee.

How to apply: Eligible candidates should apply in the prescribed format only. Candidates should fill the application form complete in all respect with only correct information. The application form should be sent in an envelope superscribed as “Application for the post of ________________”. The envelope should be sent by Registered post or Speed post only to the below mentioned address on or before the last date for the reciept of applications.
