Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Ph.D. degree in the appropriate branch with atleast 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent is required for applying for the post of Assistant Professor in Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Pay Scale: Pay Band-3 i.e. Rs.15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8000. After successful completion of 3 years service as Assistant Professor, candidates will be given the salary under Pay Band-4 i.e. Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.

Selection Committee:

The selection process for the specified faculty position includes only a personal interview test. Candidates should perform well in theinterview against Selection Committee for ensuring their selection on the specified position in Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
