The Bangalore University was established on July 10, 1964 as a federal university with jurisdiction extending to the greater Bangalore city which offers courses in arts, commerce, engineering, law. One of their courses in commercial backgrounds is the Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Research which deals with the attitude of consumers towards the products manufactured and subsequently the researches in developing those products.

Sectional Division

The paper is divided into three sections

Question Paper Pattern

The paper consists of three divided sections. The first part consists of objective type questions. The candidate is required to answer ten of the twelve questions in this part. The second part consists of five subjective type questions out of which the candidate must answer three. The last section is of long answer type that requires three questions to be answered out of five.

Marks Allocation

The total marks in this paper are eighty. The first part consists of two marks per ten objective questions .The second part offers five marks per three subjective questions and the last section offers fifteen marks per three long answers.

Time Allocation

The time allocated for completion of paper is three hours

The syllabus of Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Research covers a thorough area of basics and advanced knowledge of the needs and products of consumers. Syllabus deals with the previous and modern methods of upgrading the manufactured products that may help bring profit to both the consumers and the market.
