Fresh engineering/MCA graduates with a minimum of 65% marks throughout academics can apply for campus placement in Virtusa.  Recruitment is done through a three stage process, written exam, technical interview and HR interview. Written exam comprises of questions from topics like verbal ability, logical reasoning and programming.

Eligibility Criteria for Campus Placement in Virtusa

Candidates who wish to apply for campus placement in Virtusa must hold consistent marks from 10th class till graduation/post graduation. They must hold at least 65% marks throughout academics. MCA graduates as well as B.Tech holders are considered for recruitment. Usually engineering degree holders in any of the following subjects are considered for selection.

Procedure for Campus Placement in Virtusa

Recruitment process of Virtusa includes three main steps i.e.

  • Written test
  • Technical interview
  • HR Interview

Written test is the first stage of screening process. The section includes questions from the following topics.

  • Verbal Ability
  • Analytical and logical reasoning
  • Attention test
  • Programming ability
  • Learning ability

In verbal ability section, there will be questions related to the usage of articles, prepositions, comprehension and so on. There will be 25 questions for the session, which should be answered in 20 minutes.

Analytical and logical reasoning section is comparatively tougher than other sections. Common aptitude questions as well as puzzles can be expected from this part. Here also there will be 25 questions that must be completed within 30 minutes.

Attention test comprises of 20 questions on pattern matching, simple mathematical calculations, etc which should be completed within time limit of 20 minutes.

C and data structures are mainly asked for the session of programming ability. This is the lengthiest session and comprised of 40 questions for 40 minutes time duration.

In learning ability session, candidates are given with a passage on one page and a set of questions on another page. Candidates should answer these questions from memory.

Aspirants having cleared the written test will have to undergo two rounds of interview.
