Sanskrit is also a part of CBSE class 10 curriculums. Students who want to study Sanskrit can take up this course. The Sanskrit Question Paper is of 100 marks and of 3 hours duration. Students are also given an extra 15 minutes to read the question paper.

The Sanskrit Question Paper is divided into 4 Sections. The first section is Unseen Reading Comprehension. In this section students are given an unseen passage and they have to answer few questions related to that passage. The marks allotted for this section is 15. Second section is of writing Skills. In this section students are given letter, story or paragraph with blank spaces. They are required to fill those blank spaces with the help of the words provided. This section also contains a picture which they have to describe in 5 sentences with the help of the words supplied. The marks allotted for this section is 20.

Third Section contains questions from Applied Grammar and the marks allotted for this section is 30. The last section is reading Comprehension. In this section students are required to answer to the questions from the prose, poetry and drama passages which are provided. The marks allotted for this section is 35.
