What actually is sociology; it is that branch of social sciences which aims at developing knowledge about the human social activity and the human societies. Given below is the syllabus for the 2010 CBSE sociology examination and some papers which help you in getting good idea of your performance. CBSE Class XII sociology papers are designed to check the knowledge of the students in the subject. The paper is of 70 marks and comprises of three sections. All the three sections have different kind of questions asked. The first section has small one line answer questions, second section has short descriptive kind of questions, and the last section has long questions that have answers in the form of long explanations. The questions of first section are of minimum marks which 1 mark each. The second and third section has questions which are of 3-4 and 6 mark each respectively.
