Company profile: NHAI is responsible for maintenance, construction and management of national highways. It has been given the largest highways project of India and it has been working to provide smooth roads without uninterrupted traffic.

Job profile: A chief general manager (CGM) will be responsible for managing the assigned department. They will be required to manage various activities of their concerned department and take the important decisions.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 56 years. However, relaxation can be claimed.

Educational Qualifications: CGM (Technical) – A candidate must have a degree in civil engineering and a relevant experience. CGM (Legal) – A candidate must have a degree in law and a relevant experience. CGM (Planning and Quality) – A candidate must have a degree in civil engineering and a relevant experience. CGM (Safety) – A candidate must have a degree in civil engineering and a relevant experience.

No. of posts: There are 9 posts for CGM (Technical), 1 each for CGM (Safety/Planning and Control/Legal).

Pay scale: The CGMs will be given a pay scale of Rs37400-67000 with a grade pay of Rs10000 plus other usual allowances.

Selection procedure:
The selection will be done either through an interview by a selection committee or by deputation depending upon the educational qualification and experience of a candidate.
