Kurukshetra University was established in the year 1956 under the Government of India. The university is situated in Haryana, India. Sir Chandeshwar Prasad Narayan Singh, who was a great Sanskrit scholar, was the first one who dreamt about establishing a university for promoting Indian Culture and traditions. The university has an urban campus which is spreaded in an area of over 400 acres. The first ever department of the university was Department of Sanskrit and it was inaugurated by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, who was the first president of India. Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the following vacant non teaching positions of Clerk, Technical Assistant, Peon in Kurukshetra University. The posts are available under Self Financing Scheme. Number of vacancies may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Kurukshetra University. Candidates are required to ensure their eligibility in advance (i.e. before applying) for their desired position in Kurukshetra University.

1. Recruitment of Clerk:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available. (General-2 and SC-1)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation with minimum 60% marks in aggregate is the minimum educational qualification required for the post. Candidates with Higher/Senior Secondary or Intermediate (IInd Division) or Graduation from a recognized board or university. Candidates should also have passed the Data Entry Test on computer with minimum the speed of minimum 30 words per minute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

2. Recruitment of Technical Assistant (Computer):
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available. (General-2)
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess B.Sc. Diploma in Computer Science or Three year Diploma in Computer Engineering or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science. However, preference will be given to the candidates possessing higher qualification.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 3200.

3. Recruitment of Peon:
No. of posts: Only 16 posts are available. (General-9, SC-3, BCA-2, BCB-1 and ESM (G)-1)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or university, is the minimum educational qualification required to be possessed by the candidates. Candidates having qualification less than the prescribed one, are not eligible to apply.
Pay Scale: Rs. 4440-7440 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1300.

Selection Process:

The university will conduct a Written examination for the above mentioned posts. And the qualified or successful candidates of the written test will then be shortlisted for the interview test. Candidates are required to qualify in both the stages of the selection process for ensuring their selection on the desired post.
