Bank of India after being nationalized in 1969 grew into one of the major public sector banks in India. Bank of India has about 3100 branches and forty eight zonal offices throughout India. Job Profile:

Bank of India invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Clerks in North East states – Tripura, Sikkim, Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya and Assam. Candidates from other states are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility:

Age Criteria: Bank of India allows only candidates between the age group of 18 and 28 for the post of clerk.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have acquired not less than 50% of marks in the 10+2 examination or a pass in any degree course. The other requirements are that proficiency in local language and certificate showing computer awareness of the candidates.

Selection Process:

Application Fee:

Rs.250 must be paid at any branches of Bank of India with the given challan by Jan 3, 2011. There is no fee for SC/ST candidates.
